Future humanity will consider 2020 the year of change in human history. On the global level, it might bring positive transformation to our way of thinking and our social responsibly. On the individual level, only the products of our creations will leave a trace for the future generations to see the hardships, dreams and hopes of the everyday COVID life.
The Dream Archipelago was conceived in the midst of isolation with my family. It was a way to connect to a place I have always wanted to go and visit – Faroe Islands. The small archipelago in the midst of the Atlantic Ocean expressed the emotions of isolation, our human vulnerability and unshakable strength of nature. I wanted to depict the vastness of the islands and contrast it with our miniature scale.
